Tibet is a historical region covering much of the Tibetan Plateau in Central Asia. It is also called the “Roof Of The World” as the average elevation of this region is 4900 meters with an area of 2,500,000 sq k/m. It is also considered to be the highest plateau on Earth. Tibet offers fabulous monasteries, breathtaking high-altitude treks, stunning views of the world’s highest mountains and one of the most likable people you will ever meet. Tibet is the traditional homeland of the Tibetan people as well as other ethnic groups and is now also inhabited by considerable numbers of Han Chinese and Hui people.

The most interesting fact about Tibet is that even after the modern influence of the  Kitsch Chinese neon signs, retail stores and fast-food chains in Lhasa, it is still very normal to see various pilgrims protruding in Koras circumambulating sacred spots around the region. The sigh of such mesmerizing monasteries rich with the smell of butter tea, prayer halls of chanting monks and streets lined with proper wheels all remind us that nobody can take away what is truly Tibetan.

With such prospects, Tibet has the power to mesmerize and amaze even the hardest to convince travelers looking for everlasting experience and wonderful memories.
