Jungle Tour Bardiya National Park

Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu - Altitude: 1350m/4428 ft

After your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport Kathmandu, our representative will welcome you and then you will be taken to your hotel. Our tour operator will explain briefly about the program. Depending on your arrival time in Kathmandu, you may explore "Thamel".
In the evening we host welcome dinner at one of the typical Nepalese restaurant with local music and ethnic dance. O/N Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour - Altitude: 1400m. Meal: B

After having breakfast, we will go for the exploration of Kathmandu valley and our journey starts from the exploration of Kathmandu’s Durbar Square, which is one of three Durbar (Royal palaces) squares in the Kathmandu Valley. It is the site of the Hanuman Dhoka Palace complex, which was the royal Nepalese residence until the 19th century where important ceremonies used to be held during the monarchy. The palace is decorated with elaborately-carved wooden windows and panels and houses the King Tribhuwan Memorial Museum, dedicated to the monarch that opened up Nepal to the outside world. It is also possible to visit the State Rooms inside the palace. At the southern end of Durbar Square, there is a place of one of the most curious attractions in Nepal i.e.  Kumari Chowk. This gilded cage contains the Kumari-- a young girl chosen through an ancient and mystical selection process to become the human incarnation of the Hindu mother goddess Durga. She is worshipped during religious festivals and makes public appearances at other times for a fee paid to her guards.

We will visit Swayambhunath temple; this temple is lovingly called the 'monkey temple', for the innumerable monkeys that have made the temple their permanent residence. Swayambhunath is a stupa based on top of the hill, from where we can generally view the scenery of Kathmandu Valley. We will drive towards Pashupatinath is the most important Hindu temple in Nepal. Pashupatinath is considered as the main shrine to the devotees not only of Nepal but to the Hindus people around the world. Pashupatinath, an ancient plinth, by the banks of the holy Bagmati River, stands the 16th century of Pashupatinath - Shiva, as Lord of all Creatures. The flowing Bagmati is a holy river and the Ghats (crematorium) at its' bank is the earnest Hindus truest cremation center. Non-Hindus are not allowed inside the main temple. They can have a good view of the temple complex from Slesmantak forest-- a forest across Bagmati River.

After exploring the Pashupatinath temple, we move towards our next destination that is Bouddhanath Temple, it is located at 5km east from the center of Kathmandu. Boudhanath is one of the largest Stupas in South Asia and it has become the focal point of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. It is considered to be one of the most important Tibetan Buddhism monuments outside Tibet. There are 30 gompas in the premises of Bouddhanath. There is a brick wall that goes around the Stupa with 147 niches, along with the prayer wheel that has got the mantra (chant)  of om mani Padme hum. O/N Kathmandu.

Day 03: Fly to Nepalgunj 1 hr flight & drive to Bardia National Park | Drive: 2-3 hrs drive. Meal: BLD

After breakfast, we drive to the airport and a 1-hour flight brings us to Nepalgunj. After we reach Nepalgunj we drive to Bardia National Park, which is 2 to 3 hours of drive. Bardia is famous for Bardia National Park. Relatively the park is not that frequently visited because of its location, which is a little bit far from the tourist hubs of Nepal. However, this park has lot more to offer. The chances of sighting the Royal Bengal Tiger at the Park is almost 50-50.  After your arrival, you will get time to relax at Tharu(one of the tribe of Nepal who resides in the Tarai region) Bars or beautiful gardens inside your resort.Discover Tharu's life and culture thoroughly during our Tharu village cultural tour. In the evening we will enjoy the cultural Program.  O/N at Bardia National Park.

Day 04: Wildlife Tour in Bardia National Park. Meal: BLD

After breakfast, we will begin the wildlife activity at Bardia National Park. You will go for the walk inside the jungle with the packed lunch, which is led by our expert jungle guide. During the nature walking tour inside Bardia National Park, you have chances to sight different species of animals and birds including the alluring swimming displays of Gangetic Dolphin. O/N at Bardia.

Day 05: Full Day Wildlife Excursion at Bardia National Park - Altitude: 152m. Meal: BLD

Today after breakfast we move towards for full day sight seeing the program, we will be walking Half day for the exploration of Tiger territory and the rest of you will go for Elephant Back safari, jeep safari in Bardia National Park. We will go for a fascinating visit to the crocodile Breeding Center, the sights and sounds of real animals, if we got time we will go for Rafting. This trip might be one of the best trips to have a full picturesque view of the Bardia.  

Day 06: Bardia- Nepaljung transfer and Nepaljung - Kathmandu | Flight: 1 hr. Meals: B

Today early we watch various Birds and if we get more time we will explore the surrounding village, Jungle, and Nature. After breakfast, we will drive to Nepalgunj airport for 2 hours (70 km) from Bardia National Park and fly back to Kathmandu. Today you will take rest or explore the Thamel market during the day time.

Day 07: Departure day from Kathmandu. Meal: B

Free morning, after breakfast, if you having enough time, you may explore down town of Kathmandu Thamel, a shopping paradise. On-time transfer to the airport and our trip ends here.
