5:30 AM – 6:30 AM: Hotel Pickup & Transfer to Domestic Airport

Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Kathmandu. A private vehicle will take you to the domestic terminal at Tribhuvan International Airport, where the Air Dynasty Heli team will assist you with check-in and luggage. This pre-dawn journey lets you enjoy the peaceful ambiance of Kathmandu before the day’s excitement. Don’t forget your passport and tour tickets, as they are required for airport verification.

6:30 AM – 7:00 AM: Flight Preparation & Safety Briefing

Upon arrival, your guide will explain the boarding procedure and provide a thorough safety briefing. You will be introduced to all necessary equipment, and final checks will be made with the helicopter crew to ensure a safe and seamless departure towards Lukla and the Everest region.

7:00 AM – 8:00 AM: Helicopter Ride to Lukla (2,845 m)

As the helicopter lifts off, enjoy sweeping views of Nepal’s terraced hills, charming villages, and lush landscapes. Flying over Lamjura-La Pass at 3,550 meters, rhododendron forests and the rugged Himalayan peaks come into view. After approximately 45 minutes, you land at Lukla, the gateway to Everest, where Sherpa culture thrives and local guides and porters add to the vibrant atmosphere.

8:00 AM – 8:15 AM: Refueling Stop at Lukla Airport

The helicopter pauses for a short 15-minute refueling. During this time, you can admire the surrounding mountains and observe the bustling life of Lukla. This moment offers a glimpse of local traditions amidst the dramatic Himalayan scenery.

8:15 AM – 8:30 AM: Flight to Kala Patthar (5,450 m)

Continuing your journey, the helicopter ascends to Kala Patthar, passing glaciers, Sherpa villages, and prayer-flag-covered hillsides. Iconic peaks such as Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Pumori come into full view, while the pilot provides insights about the Khumbu region’s geography and landmarks.

8:30 AM – 8:45 AM: Explore Kala Patthar

Landing at 5,450 meters, you’ll have roughly 15 minutes to take in the spectacular panorama. From this vantage point, the grandeur of Everest, neighboring peaks, and the Khumbu Glacier is fully visible. Capture unforgettable photographs or take a short stroll around the landing site to soak in the majesty of the Himalayas.

8:45 AM – 9:00 AM: Fly to Syangboche – Everest View Hotel (3,950 m)

The helicopter descends to Syangboche, where the famous Everest View Hotel is perched above the Khumbu Valley. En route, you’ll fly over Gorak Shep, monasteries, and chortens, offering a bird’s-eye perspective of the Sherpa settlements and dramatic Himalayan landscape.

9:00 AM – 9:30 AM: Breakfast at Everest View Hotel

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the world’s highest-altitude hotel, surrounded by breathtaking views of Everest and the surrounding peaks. The serene mountain panorama makes this meal an extraordinary experience.

9:30 AM – 10:00 AM: Return Flight to Lukla for Refueling

After breakfast, the helicopter returns to Lukla for a brief refueling stop, retracing some of the morning’s scenic aerial routes over glaciers, ridges, and mountain villages.

10:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Flight Back to Kathmandu & Hotel Drop-off

The final leg of your journey takes you back to Kathmandu, offering last views of Everest, Namche Bazaar, and the lower Khumbu valleys from the air. Upon landing, Air Dynasty Heli staff will transfer you safely to your hotel, concluding an unforgettable day of Himalayan adventure.
